Africa at Hôtel de l’Industrie

A unique location in the heart of Paris

The LAB will take place in Hôtel de l’Industrie, place Saint-Germain des Prés, in the centre of Paris. Head office of the Société d’Encouragement pour l’Industrie Nationale –SEIN-, which was built in 1851, the Hôtel de l’Industrie has always been a place dedicated to the encouragement of the French economy’s modernization and development. The building was designed to host the high members of the SEIN and to exhibit inventions. In 1895, the Lumière Brothers presented their first movie in one of its room, major event for the history of the Film industry. Hôtel de l’Industrie remains the key place of the political, social, cultural and simply festive life of the French Capital.
