The Society of Encouragement to the National Industry (Société d’Encouragement pour l’Industrie Nationale) is an association founded in 1801 by three consuls : Bonaparte, Cambacérès and Lebrun. Recognized to be of public utility in 1824, it aims to stimulate the industrial development of France, to promote the technological innovation and to value entrepreneurship.
Faithful to its original objectives, it furthers its monitoring mission of the great industrial, economic and social changes since two centuries:
- Promoting the industry of tomorrow’s builders
- Transmitting the innovations and the know-how
- Enhancing the « Made-in-France »
- Retaining the memory of the industrial heritage
