Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire is part of the three consular institutions of Côte d’Ivoire, with the Chamber of Agriculture and the Chamber of Crafts. Created in 1992 by decree it kept the same shape. But, actually history of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire started in 1908. It has a management autonomy. Moreover, it defends commercial and industrial interests towards State of Cote d’Ivoire with 4(four) core missions: Representation, Assistance and corporate Advice, Creation and management of infrastructures, and Vocational training. The main purpose is to defend corporate interests of its territory and to promote them by developing capacity building, as people are involved; by managing spaces, infrastructures and services necessary to their development. Hence, it is regularly consulted by public authorities for advice, and introduces its opinion to government about economic interests concerns.
