Founder of the LAB
Engaged for over ten years in issues related to the development of the African continent, Eric Bazin is the founder of the Land of African Business. He is convinced of the necessity to integrate the African voice to economic and societal international debate.
Reporter, former editor of Gamma Agency, Eric founded the press agency Saola in 1993, created in 2004 Satelight -communications agency, press and advice, specialized in reportage for international publishers: Paris Match, Sunday Times, Stern, Airone, National Geographic, Oggi, El Pais, Le Monde Magazine, Time, Newsweek, etc. In 2006, Eric Bazin, together with George J. Gendelman, founded The Planetworkshops, a think tank dedicated to sustainable development and CSR. The Planetworkshops organized international forums “The Global Conference”, the Rabat conference Round Morocco, the Global Water Conference in Barcelona and created the NGO « Edurable » for electrification programs in Africa.
Eric also participated (in) to the organisation of several photo exhibitions worldwide. Passionate about art of wine, he truly believes that a better life comes through debate, transmission and wakefulness.
