Conférence Permanente des Chambres Consulaires Africaines et Francophones
An association of African and French-speaking chambers (commerce/trade, industry/crafts, agriculture/mines…), created in 1973. It is now the largest structured network of economic operators in French-speaking Africa, comprising 130 chambers from 30 countries (25 African countries : North, West, Central, East and Indian Ocean). Major Partners are : Agence Française de Développement (AFD), Francophonie (OIF), Eurochambres, International Trade Center (ITC), European Enterprise Network (EEN)… CPCCAF programs are : Besides Governance and SMEs advocacy…Technical assistance missions for : private sector, trade, competitive intelligence, commercial fairs… and Twinning cooperation programs in order to : improve general/sectoral business services assistance (e.g. agribusiness/construction/catering), adapt to local economic operators’ needs, develop training courses on tourism, breeding, export standards, business models, entrepreneurship…improve the overall management and governance structure, North-South and South-South cooperation (e.g. Burkina Faso – Guinea – Cameroon) for Business register and economic mapping, Scalability and long-term support (beyond project), services and know-how are replicable to regions and other countries (Cameroon and Congo in Central Africa…).
